Most dentists recommend scheduling your child’s first dental visit around age one or when their first tooth appears, whichever comes first. Early dental visits help ensure healthy tooth development, establish good oral hygiene habits, and allow your dentist to monitor growth before any issues arise. These visits are gentle, educational, and designed to create a positive experience from the start.
A dental spa is just like a traditional general dental office — only elevated. At Alora Dental Spa, our goal is to provide exceptional dental care while making patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Every visit includes access to our comfort menu, featuring amenities like hot towel service, aromatherapy, neck pillows, streaming services, noise-canceling headphones, and paraffin wax hand treatments. We also offer select med spa services performed by a board-certified surgeon, allowing patients to enjoy comprehensive care in one calming, thoughtfully designed space.
Yes! Alora Dental Spa offers professional teeth whitening using Opalescence® whitening products, which are known for delivering safe, effective, and noticeable results. Opalescence uses either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide, which work within the enamel to break down stain molecules and brighten your smile by multiple shades.
We offer both in-office and take-home whitening options, depending on your schedule, goals, and sensitivity level. During your visit, Dr. Patel will help you choose the option that’s best for you.
In-office whitening:
This option provides the fastest and most dramatic results. Treatments are performed in our office with guidance from our team, so you can relax while we handle the process. In-office whitening typically involves 2–3 sessions, with each session lasting about 20 minutes using professional whitening trays.
At-home whitening:
At-home whitening is a more flexible and affordable option. Dr. Patel will provide detailed instructions and professional-grade products, including custom trays or pre-made trays, with peroxide strengths ranging from 10–15% hydrogen peroxide. We’ll help tailor the treatment to fit your lifestyle and whitening goals.
Veneers may be a good option if your teeth have worn or eroded enamel, noticeable discoloration that doesn’t respond to whitening, or fillings on the front teeth that impact the appearance of your smile. Veneers can also help improve uneven, chipped, or slightly misaligned teeth.
The best way to know if veneers are right for you is through an in-person consultation. During your visit, Dr. Patel will evaluate your enamel, existing restorations, bite, and overall oral health to determine whether veneers are the best solution — or if another cosmetic treatment may be a better fit.
Yes! Alora Dental Spa offers Invisalign clear aligners, and Dr. Patel is a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign is a discreet, comfortable way to straighten teeth and is often a great option for both teens and adults. An in-person consultation allows us to determine if Invisalign is the right treatment for your smile goals.
In most cases, we recommend using an electric toothbrush. Electric toothbrushes are proven to remove more plaque than manual brushes and can be especially helpful for maintaining consistent brushing technique. Look for a soft-bristled brush and aim to brush for two minutes, twice a day.
During your visit, Alora Dental Spa can recommend specific electric toothbrush options based on your oral health needs, sensitivity level, and gum health.

Wow! I’ve never had my 10-year-old say she loved going to the dentist until we found Alora. From the moment we walked in, the entire team made us feel comfortable and cared for. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and patient, they explain every step, answer all our questions, and give us clear options so we feel informed, not overwhelmed! I hadn’t been to the dentist in 7 years due to extreme dental anxiety, and this office completely changed my experience. Dr Patel, Kathy, and Evelyn were kind, patient, and non-judgmental from start to finish, and everything was explained clearly. I left feeling confident in my treatment plan and genuinely comfortable about returning. Highly recommend, especially if you’re anxious about dental visits.

As someone who doesn’t love going to the dentist, it was a great experience! Very friendly staff. I was very impressed in their technology - Alora is ahead of the industry in regards to technology and modernization. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for the best dental care!

Dr. Sheena is wonderful! This was the best dental experience I've ever had. I had my teeth cleaned and also did their professional teeth whitening service before my wedding and I was super impressed with the results. My teeth were so white! If you're someone that feels anxious about going to the dentist you should definitely make an appointment at Alora.

Amazing experience. Yesterday I went to Valley view for two broken tooth and Dr Seena Patel gave temporary crowns, which I had to return the following Monday to get my permanent crowns. Today I went to her Alora dental spa for my yearly cleaning and a great surprise to discover my permanent crowns were ready. Teeth cleaning today was in a class of its own. Amazing job and glad i went. The staff is all very friendly and work together like a family. Thank you for an awesome dentist experience and excellent service.

I had an excellent experience during my recent visit to this dental office! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made me feel comfortable right away, which really helped ease any nerves I had about the appointment. The front desk team was organized and efficient, and the hygienist took the time to explain every step of the cleaning process.
The dentist was also fantastic very knowledgeable, patient, and thorough when answering my questions. I really appreciated how they focused on both my comfort and understanding of the treatment plan. This dental office is unlike anything you’ve experienced. I was so pleased with my first visit. The staff is professional, kind and knowledgeable. It’s obvious when a business has a happy, skilled team that takes pride in their work. Office was exceptionally clean. Dr. Patel used the latest technology to give me visuals of some trouble areas, with a clearly thought out treatment plan. She has an EXCELLENT chair side manner, and won’t leave you feeling like she’s only got five minutes to spare. I walked away feeling like they took the time to really evaluate my dental health and were not in a rush to bill procedures or encourage me to do treatment that I didn’t need. They addressed functional pain, such as my grinding-which no other dentist had ever discussed with me.
Great experience and I’m looking forward to my next visit. Also-bonus points for being in the same plaza as Trader Joe’s! Dental visits can now be paired with a trip to my favorite little grocer.

Because all of my life, either my grandfather or uncle have been my dentist...
It took a lot of research but I finally found a dentist who not only had talent but matched my vibe!
Dr. Sheena Patel is probably who I'd be had I stayed in school and became a dentist! (Orthodontist to be exact)
Lissennnnnnn Linda...the aesthetics and amenities are posh - so much so that you forget you're at the dentist! Coming from a dental background and growing up in a traditional dental office, it was very nice to see how technology has advanced so much! She took bitewing X-rays with a handheld machine and my full mouth x-ray with a 360° machine...I didn't need a lead vest! 😆
Her office is so practical for comfort and if you're one who gets anxious about dental visits, the complimentary beverages (tea, coffee and sparkling or still water as well as offerings like paraffin hand treatment, aromatherapy, neck pillow, headphones (to listen to the ceiling TV as you recline) and hot towel after you're done...you can forget you're at the dentist! And even if you don't forget, you're more likely to relax in the nicely appointed waiting area.
I could go on, however it's certainly something you should experience yourself.
Might I add, it was certainly a compliment when both Dr. Patel and Evelyn told me I had nice teeth ! 🦷😁 Kathy at the desk was wonderful as well.
I do take a special kind of pride in my smile... and excited to find a dentist who can take care of it AND offer a bit of relaxation while doing so!

Everything about this practice is perfect. Kathy was great at setting up the appointment and very communicative. Evelyn, the hygienist, was gentle and talked me through everything. Dr. Patel is absolutely fantastic! She was very thorough and you can tell she is an expert at what she does. My teeth feel great. They have a bunch of complimentary things like noise cancelling headphones, paraffin wax treatment, hot towel treatment. You can tell they really want the patient to feel comfortable. I will absolutely be back!

I had an amazing experience at Alora Dental Spa and couldn't be more impressed with their exceptional care! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease.
First, Lauren provided me with noise-cancelling headphones, which made a huge difference. The usual sound of dental tools was almost entirely blocked out, allowing me to focus on something more enjoyable. She also gave me a pair of sunglasses to wear, which helped block out the bright lights and made me feel more comfortable.
To top it all off, Dr. Patel set up Netflix on the ceiling-mounted screen, so I could watch a show of my choice throughout the procedure. It really helped distract me, and I found myself completely engrossed in the show, which made the whole experience fly by.
What really stood out to me, though, was how they encouraged me to take control of the experience. They made it clear that if I ever felt the need to stop or take a break, I could simply raise my hand, and they would pause immediately. This approach meant so much to me because, too often, medical and dental appointments can feel intimidating, leaving you unsure of how to speak up or express discomfort.
Lauren and Dr. Patel went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit. They made sure I was well-informed by walking me through each step of the procedure. The receptionist, Kathy, was engaging and extremely hospitable from the moment I walked. She took the time to chat with me and offered me tea or coffee, which also made me feel extremely welcomed. I recently visited Alora Dental Spa for a cleaning and whitening and had an amazing experience! Both Lauren and Dr. Patel were detailed, informative and so sweet. The office is gorgeous and everyone was so warm. I got. paraffin hand wax while getting my cleaning and watched movies in their comfortable dental char. It was such a relaxing and fantastic dental visit!

If you are looking for an amazing and relaxing experience, you must go to Alora! The space is beautiful and you truly feel like you are at a spa. Definitely an upgrade from the standard dentist office. Who knew going to the dentist could be so enjoyable! 😀

I felt like a princess at Alora Dental Spa! Dr. Patel and her team took such good care of me. My experience felt so personable. My teeth cleaning was painless - I didn’t need numbing gel at all! Highly recommend Alora Dental Spa for an elevated dental experience! ☺️

I visited Alora Dental Spa last week with my kids and had a great experience. Dr Patel did a thorough checkup for the kids, explained in detail all the dental work that needs to be done and importance of regular cleaning and brushing. Also, Lauren the hygienist was absolutely incredible. Both boys were thrilled to get their teeth cleaned and left with exciting goody bags. All the staff members were highly professional and very knowledgable.
Also the office is new, cozy and elegant.
